CHT Kids

The ministry of teaching is one of the most important acts of witness to which Christians are called, and the gift of teaching is among the most precious of spiritual gifts. Members of the Holy Trinity community who feel that their spiritual gifts and/or their Christian vocation qualify them to exercise their ministry in a classroom with children or youth are invited to ccontact Alan Neale at 215-567-1267 to make an appointment to discuss how they might participate in our education programs for children and youth.
Nursery
Ages 6 weeks to 3 years
The nursery offers quality care on Sundays from 10:00 until 12:30, enabling parents to participate in Christian education offerings and worship. Infants and toddlers from the age of 6 weeks through four years are invited to play in the Nursery. There they receive the care of our team of childcare professionals who provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for younger children.
Sunday School
Sunday School begins at 11:00 with Music in the Parish House at 1904 Walnut Street. After a few moments of music, each class convenes to its classroom space to engage in age-appropriate learning activities with a dedicated and talented group of teachers. Children join their parents in the Church for Holy Communion and remain with parents until the end of the service.
Godly Play
Ages 3 to 6 Years
Based on Montessori-style education, children are supported, challenged, and nourished in their spiritual quest. Children experience the mystery of God, and this program facilitates their encounter with God, with Jesus, and with the people of God through the use of stories, objects, and wondering. Children are given the opportunity to learn about God in a playful and accepting atmosphere.
God Squad
Ages 7 – 13 Years
This is the idea to beat at Holy Trinity! We have combined the older groups to encourage a multi-age experience. The curriculum is based on Howard Gardner’s Nine Multiple Intelligences. The Workshop Rotation Model involves hands-on learning, using both sides of the brain, and working to bring out the best in each child based on how s/he absorbs information. There will be Old Testament Lessons and New Testament Lessons. Students are encouraged to apply the Gospel message to situations in their daily lives.
Your children are invited to join us anytime!
