The Vestry is the governing board of the church and consists of twelve members, from whom the wardens and treasurer are selected. The Vestry shares with the clergy in the leadership of the parish, bearing a particular responsibility for the care of church buildings and finances. Members of the clergy sit on the Vestry ex officio as non-voting members.

  • Ashley Del Bianco (2013), Rector’s Warden

    Ashley was elected to the Vestry in Spring 2007 to focus on involving new members and encouraging growth in membership. She was appointed Rector’s Warden in 2008. Ashley also serves as an usher and in the past has coordinated CHT outings, when parishioners and friends have a chance to socialize and explore our region’s cultural attractions. In her professional life, Ashley works in educational leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Ray, have been part of CHT since 2005, and, she says, “It has been exciting to be a part of a growing and energizing community.”

  • Tony Bowers (2014), Voting Member

    Tony Bowers became a member of the CHT community in 2007 after relocating to southern New Jersey from Atlanta in 2006. At CHT, he is currently serving as a Reader. Prior to being at CHT, Tony served at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Marietta, providing support to Reverend Frank Baltz. While at St. Jude’s Tony was a Greeter, Usher, Reader, Acolyte, Member of the Ambassador Committee and member of the Finance Committee. Tony is actively involved in community service and dedicates efforts to outreach programs targeting the homeless population. Tony is an executive with Target, Inc. He resides with his wife, Treasa Bowers, and their son, Jared in Gloucester County, NJ.

  • Bart Evans (2014), Voting Member, Worship

    Bart Evans is a member of the Verger’s Guild of the Episcopal Church, and serves as the assisting verger at CHT.  He previously served as a cathedral verger at the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, the seat of the Bishop of the Rio Grande, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.   He and his partner Patrick Mulhall are enjoying their second relocation to Philadelphia since 1993.  Professionally, he works in charitable estate planning for a national non-profit organization.
  • Arcangelo Guida (2013), Voting Member

    Arcangelo was born in Santa Maria a Vico, Italy, and grew up in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Yale College, U of Penn, and Drexel University and moved to Philadelphia in 1976 to begin a Master's degree in Architecture. He loved it here, so he bought an abandoned house in Center City, which he is still working on... Arcangelo is a registered Architect in Pennsylvania & New Jersey and worked for 20 years in mid-size architecture firms doing mostly large commercial buildings. More recently, he is working on his own doing mostly residential projects. Arcangelo is married to Kristin, and they have three beautiful children: Lucy, Jack & Gigi.
  • Erin McQuiggan (2013), Voting Member, Outreach

    Erin was elected to the Vestry in September 2010 to head Outreach. Erin, along with her husband Brendan, currently co-chairs the Outreach Committee, which is devoted to providing service opportunities for CHT’s members. Erin has been a member of CHT since September 2006 and also teaches Sunday School. She is a Trusts & Estates attorney practicing in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Erin, a native of Buffalo, NY and Minneapolis, MN, currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband Brendan.
  • Jennifer Tucker (2012), Voting Member, Environmental Concerns

    Jennifer Tucker is the Assistant Vice President of Communications at Lehigh University. She is also part of Lehigh's environmental advisory group. Before working with Lehigh, Jen led public relations efforts for Fortune 500 companies and national nonprofit organizations before starting her own company. Jen resides in Philadelphia and attends church with her husband Matthew.
  • Noah Van Niel (2012), Voting Member, Christian Education

    Noah Van Niel joined the Vestry in the winter of 2011 as the Education Chair. Noah and his wife Melinda moved to Philadelphia after graduating from Harvard University three years ago and have been members of the Church of the Holy Trinity there entire time here. Noah serves as an Usher and Reader and enjoys being a part of such a vibrant faith community in the heart of the city. He currently is a Resident Artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts pursuing a degree in Operatic Vocal Performance.
  • kateR Kate Roberts, Non-Voting Secretary

    Kate and her husband Wayne reside in Pennsauken, NJ. They have been attending CHT since Christmas 2005, when a good friend invited them to attend. Kate began serving as Vestry secretary in October 2009. She also serves with the greeter and hospitality ministries.  In her professional life, Kate recently retired as the Manager of Secretarial Services for a center city law firm.  Presently, she wears two hats. She and Wayne own a business marketing a line of health and nutritional supplements and Kate works part time as a Mary Kay beauty consultant.  Kate says, “Being part of CHT has been and continues to be such a blessing for us!”.

    Alan Neale was born in London, England. He received his first degree from the London School of Economics, followed by a second degree in Theology from Oxford University. Ordained in Exeter Cathedral, he served in the city-centre church St. Andrew of Plymouth, Devon; The University of Christ Church, Southampton; and St. Andrew, Stanstead Abbots, Hertfordshire. In 1988, with his wife Wendy and three children, he moved to Brookings, South Dakota. After thirteen years as Rector of St. Columba’s Chapel Middletown, Rhode Island, Alan became Rector of Holy Trinity in June, 2004.
  • The Rev. Diana Carroll, Assistant to the Rector

    Diana Carroll is a native of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and received her undergraduate degree in English from Kenyon College in 2004. Following graduation, she spent a year serving with the Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Tacoma, Washington, where she worked at a drop-in center for the homeless. During her time at Kenyon, Diana entered the ordination process in the Diocese of Ohio. She graduated in 2008 from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. Diana began serving at Holy Trinity as a transitional deacon in July of that year and was ordained to the priesthood on January 10, 2009 at the Philadelphia Cathedral.
